WATERTOWN NATIVE, 72, EXPIRES AT HARTFORD HOSPITAL
Frank H. Raue, 72, Iron Ridge died Thursday at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hartford, following a brief illness.
He was born March 17, 1894, at Watertown the son of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Raue. He was married Sept. 28, 1957, to Mrs. Hulda Volkmann.
He is survived by his widow, one daughter, Mrs. Lester Korbel, Oconto Falls and three brothers, Ernst Raue of Milwaukee, Luther Raue of Waukesha, and Arna Raue of Horicon.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mrs. Leona Erdman Raue in 1955; six brothers and one sister.
He was a member of St. Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Volunteer Fire Department and at one time was vice-president of the Lake Owners Association.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Iron Ridge with Rev. Louis A. Tessmer officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at Ulmer Funeral Home, Horicon, after 4 p.m. Sunday and after 11 a.m. Monday at the church.
