For five seasons, he played with the Philadelphia Phillies (1897-98), Washington Senators (1899, 1903-04) and Chicago White Sox (1903). He ended his Major League career with 17 wins, 30 loss, 1 save, 139 strike outs and a 5.02 earned run average. Before retiring from professional baseball, he played with the American Association (AA) Louisville Colonels winning 33 games, (1905-06).
