Opera Singer. Born Johanna Lind in Sweden, she studied until 1838 in Stockholm, and then till 1841 in Paris, France with singer and composer Manuel del Pópulo Vincente Rodríguez García. She made her debut in 1838 in "Agathe" in Stockholm. From 1844 she played in Berlin, Hamburg, Köln, Koblenz, Leipzig and Vienna, from 1847 in London and Stockholm. In 1849 she changed completely her style to concert singing over. Between 1852 and 1855 she was in Dresden and in 1856 she moved to London.
