Katherine Elizabeth Elsasser, nee Borger, was born January 2, 1848 in Saratov, Russia, and early in life was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Church of which she has been a faithful and lifetime member. Her husband also died and since 1905 she has been a widow.
In 1876 the family came to America and settled in Russell County at Milberger, Kansas, at which place the deceased has resided since with the exception of the last two years which she spent with daughters at Bison, Kansas, and Fort Collins, Colo.
