Conrad Funk died Sunday morning of pneumonia at his home 3 miles north and 3 miles west of Galatia at the age of 32 years. He leaves a wife and several small children and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his loss.
Christ Funk, uncle of Conrad Funk and of same neighborhood died Sunday morning of senility at the age of 78 years. He leaves a wife and two sons and one daughter. The daughter lives at Bazine and one son lives at home.
Short funeral services were held at the Christ Funk home Tuesday. After which the body was taken to the Conrad Funk home where a joint funeral service was held. The bodies were then taken in two hearses to Milberger where interment was made. Services were conducted by Rev. Hainke.
