(John G. Keil Feb. 22, 1842 - May 8, 1922)
Mrs. Bushell went over to Milberger to help care for Victor Keil's father. He had been sick for five months and died Monday evening at six o'clock. All that loving hands could do for him was done. Mr. Keil was past eighty years old. He leaves a sister, Mrs. Heinitz, of Wilson, who is 82 years of age
The Death Records for Milberger Lutheran Church (transcribed by Janet Flickenger) has an entry that reads:
Johann Georg Keil (sic) died May 8, 1922, age 80 years 2 months and 23 days from a stroke/seizure.

John was the son of Joh. Adam and Katharina (Kahl) Keil, both of whom were born and died in Russia.
