Jerry Franklin Bonner, 71, of Midland passed away Friday, October 7, 2011 in San Angelo, TX. He was born January 30, 1940 in Dallas, TX to Otis Henry and Sarah Katherine Bonner. He was a veteran of the US Air Force. He married Dolores Dunlap November 15, 1958. He worked in the oil filed as a well service operator in the Midland/Odessa area.
He is survived by his brothers: Don Bonner of Clovis, NM, Lee Bonner of Copperas Cove, TX, and Mike Bonner of Kaufman, TX; sisters: Mary Jones of Irving, TX, Pat Byers of Irving, TX, Linda Darr of Irving, TX, Sharon Koehler of Amarillo, TX, and Pam Boyles of Sugarland, TX; sons: Jamie Bonner and wife Jeannie of San Angelo, TX, and Terry Bonner of San Antonio, TX; daughter: Lisa Bonner of San Angelo, TX; grandchildren: Trevor Bonner, Joshua Bonner, Chance Bonner, Dwight Laurenzana, Justin Laurenzana, Bryan Kenley, Jalisa Lewis and Aaliyah Branch; as well as 3 great-grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Troy Don Bonner and his brother J.W. Bonner.
There will be a visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, October 9, 2011 at Johnson's Funeral Home in San Angelo, TX. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 10, 2011 at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens in San Angelo, TX.
