Susanville
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon for Mrs. Minnie Hilda McSwain, who died Friday at her home near Doyle. She was a native of Atlanta, Ga., aged 69 years.
Besides her husband, John Morgan McSwain, she leaves two daughters, Siona McSwain of Doyle and Mrs. Zoa V. Tucker of Reno; three brothers, William Blackwell of Doyle; Johnny Blackwell, Oakdale, and Jack Blackwell of Stockton; one sister, Mrs. F.W. Simpson, of Reno; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Interment was in the Janesville cemetery under the direction of the Morrill Mortuary, Rev. P.C. Knudson officiated.
Parents were Warren and Mattie Blackwell
