His burial at Kadesh is not proven but is based on the fact that his property was not far from the cemetery & Murdocks are mentioned in 1892 book "Annals of Old Newberry" as members of the church.
He arrived Charleston on Brig Lord Dungannon from Belfast, Northern Ireland, 3feb1768 with his family. On 12dec1768 he received grant of 350 acres Craven County,(now Newberry Co.) SC.
He married Mary Cleland 10Jan1754 Killyleagh, County Down, North Ireland.
