Anna Prieshoff was born in Germany on 30 November 1868. According to her death certificate, she was the daughter of Joseph Prieshoff and mother's name unknown. She immigrated to the USA on the S.S. Dresden. The ship departed Bremen, Germany and arrived at the Port of Baltimore, Maryland on 22 October 1891. Anna was 23 years old, residing in the steerage section of the ship with a destination of Ohio. Anna Prieshoff married Fred Wenstrup at Mother of God Catholic Church in Covington, Kenton County, Kentucky, USA on 4 May 1892. They had seven children: Joseph, Alphonse, Leo, Lawrence, Camillus, Marie, and Dorothy. Anna Prieshoff Wenstrup died at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Covington, Kentucky on 20 September 1945 at 9:30 a.m. The cause of death was pulmonary edema and coronary thrombosis. Anna was laid to rest at Mother of God Cemetery in Covington, Kenton County, Kentucky, USA on 22 September 1945. H. Linneman and Sons were the undertakers. At the time of her death, Anna Prieshoff Wenstrup lived at 224 East Twelfth Street in Covington.
