Obituary: Teutopolis Press - February 3, 1927

Grandma Nuxoll as she was lovingly called by all her countless friends, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. M. Willenborg near Greencreek Idaho, on January 19. The deceased had been in failing health for some time and her demise was not unexpected.

Grandma Nuxoll was born in Neuenkirchen, Germany, and came to this country when a young child. She and her parents lived in Cincinnati Ohio for several years when the family moved to Greencreek, Illinois, where she grew to womanhood and was married to Frederick Nuxoll residing in that State until March 1901, when the family removed to Idaho and soon thereafter they located in the Greencreek, Idaho community, filing on a homestead of 160 acres close to Greencreek Catholic church. Eight children were born to Mr. and Mrs Nuxoll. They are: Mrs. Frank Koester of Effingham Illinois. Mr. Joseph Kaufman of Lewiston, Idaho: Mrs. J. M. Willenborg of Greencreek Idaho: John H. Nuxoll of Joseph Oregon, Mrs. Anton Aichlmayre of Uniontown, Washington and Ferdinand Nuxoll of Wisconsin

The deceased was a life long member of the Catholic church and was a lady of exceptionally pleasant disposition, winning friends wherever she went. She was 73 year of age last August and leaves, besides her husband and children, a. large number of other relatives and friends to mourn her death. The funeral was held from the Greencreek Catholic church on the 22nd day of January and interment was made in the cemetery at that place. -Co. Review. .
