The native of Belfort, France, retired in 1969 from Industrial Piping & Engineering Co. after 33 years. He was a member of Local 166 Plumbers & Steam Fitters Union. His wife, Naomi E., died in May.
Surviving are sons, Jack C. of Sebring, Fla., and Louis F. Jr. of Fort Wayne; sisters, Mary Klemmer of Bronson, Mich., and Esther Holzworth of Fort Wayne; brother, Frederick Nicole of Tullahoma, Tenn.; 22 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services are 11 a.m. tomorrow in D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., where calling is 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery.
Preferred memorials are gifts to Crossroad-Fort Wayne Children's Home.
