Mr. Pommerening, 54, of Randolph, died Wednesday (June 14, 2006) at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
He was born April 7, 1952, in Sauk Centre, Minn. He attended St. Mathias school through the sixth grade and graduated from Randolph High School in 1970. He married Jean Brunnotte on April 7, 1973. After high school, he was a millwright, working as a union laborer with his father-in-law. He was currently employed for more than 15 years as a farm hand for Ferdinand and June Volkert near Randolph. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and camping, going to garage sales, and finding antique pedal bikes for his collection.
Survivors include six children, Becky (Doug) Noreen of Red Wing, Brice of Randolph, Brook (Joe) Theis of Cannon Falls, and Brittany, Blake and Bailey, all at home in Randolph; three grandchildren; his mother, Amelia of Hampton; and six brothers, Don (Lorraine) of Rochester, Dennis (Marcia) of Crosby, Minn., Steve (April) of Faribault, and Tim, Rich (Renae) and Tom, all of Hampton. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother
