Ernest J. Luchs
Funeral for Ernest J. Luchs will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Peake Memorial Chapel in Milwaukie, with interment in Lincoln Memorial Park.
Mr. Luchs died Tuesday in a Portland area hospital. He was 67.
A native and lifetime resident of Milwauke, he attended Clackamas Grade School. He was a milk-truck driver for Mayflower Farms for 30 years, retiring in 1980. He was a member of St. Stephens Lutheran Church in Gladstone.
Survivors include two daughters, Joanne M. Terry of Milwaukie and Francis Skunca of Washington Township, N.J.; a brother, Thomas Luchs of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; two sisters, Freida Burke of Seattle and Margaret Sauter of Ethel, Wash.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The family requests that remembrances be contributions to the Oregon Heart Association.
