Frank Aloise Malkowski Jr., age 56, of Cedarville, Michigan, died Saturday, July 16, 2011 in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan.

He was born July 3, 1955 in Sault Ste. Marie. Frank grew up in Cedarville and graduated from Cedarville high school. Following high school, he served in the United States Army, where he was a cook, just as his father had been. Frank was a mechanic who worked at Viking Marine and then at the limestone quarry in Cedarville. Frank also worked operating the family farm. Frank enjoyed hunting, fishing in both summer and winter, morel mushroom hunting, and riding his Harley. He loved spending time with friends and often this was while he was in his garage working on a project.

Frank was survived by two sons, David and Dennis Malkowski, both of Cedarville; two sisters, Kathy Fleck and Marta Malkowski both of Haslett, Michigan; his mother, Opal (Wonders); his former wife, Lesa Hester; nieces and nephews, Brent (Beckee) Fleck, Erin Fleck, Todd Bennett, and Angie Bennett; and great nieces and nephews, Jordan, Dakota, Montana, and Troy Bennett.

Frank Malkowski, Jr. was preceded in death by his father, Frank Malkowski Sr., on April 23, 2011.
