Born Kristina Kopp in Brooklyn, she moved to New Dorp as a teenager. After her marriage, she and her husband lived in Meiers Corners, eventually settling in Jackson, N.J., in 2008.
Mrs. Giuffi enjoyed going to the beach and spending time with family and friends. She especially loved spending time with her children.
"She just loved being with her kids and making them happy," said her sister, Loriann Kelly. "She was a loving wife and mother and lived for her husband and her kids."
Mrs. Giuffi was a former parishioner of St. Rita's R.C. Church, Meiers Corners.
Surviving are her husband of 18 years, Joseph; three daughters, Daniella, Gabriella and Giovanna; her parents, Carol and Gregory Kopp; her sisters, Loriann Kelly and Jennifer Catania, and her grandmother, Dolores Hartman.
The funeral will be Tuesday from the Harmon Home for Funerals, West Brighton, with a mass at 10 a.m. in St. Rita's Church. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Pleasant Plains.
