Mrs. Magdalena Guedelhoefer, 79 years old, widow of the late John Guedelhoefer, died at 9 o'clock last evening at her home, 832 North Meridian street. Mrs. Guedelhoefer had been in failing health for a year and her illness became serious last February. Death was attributed to old age. Mrs. Guedelhoefer was born in Freusburg am Rhein, Germany, Nov 26, 1833. She came to America with her husband forty-five years ago. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and was active in the Women's Society of the congregation. Those who survive are August, Otto C. and Bernard J. Guedelhoefer, Mrs. John Cornet and Miss Pauline Guedelhoefer of Indianapolis and Julius Guedelhoefer of Butte, Mont., children.
