Theda Simmering
Theda Simmering, 91, of Good Samaritan Village died there Sunday.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Butler-Volland Chapel with the Rev. Robert Hansen officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery near Glenvil.
Mrs. Simmering was born in Glenvil and moved to Hastings in 1924. She was a member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
Surviving are two sons, Weston of Ruston, LA, and Herschel of Hastings; a daughter, Mrs. Andrew (Lois) Cornelius of Hastings; a brother, Henry Bruns of Hastings; a sister, Christine Stuard of Arvada, Colo; eight grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
