Mrs. Benson was a member of Saints Faith Hope and Charity Church in Winnetka, and formerly was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Murphysboro.
Mrs. Benson, formerly of Murphysboro, died at the home of her daughter in Wilmette.
