Earl R. Tobler

Scottsdale, Ariz. -- Earl R. Tobler, 2819 Kentucky, Topeka, died unexpectedly Wednesday at a hospital while visiting in Scottsdale. He was 71.
A long-time Topekan, he was born Oct. 30, 1894, at Lecompton.

Mr. Tobler was a sheetmetal worker for Santa Fe Railway for 37 years until his retirement.
He was a veteran of World War I, and a member of Grace Evengelical United Brethren Church and Lodge No. 51, AF&AM.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Edith Tobler, of the home; one son, Leroy E. Tobler, Arvada, Colo.; one sister, Mrs. Nellie Stolle, Hoyt, Kan.; and two grandchildren.

Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary for Earl R. Tobler, 71, 2819 Kentucky, who died Wednesday in a hospital at Scottsdale, Ariz. where he was visiting.
