Conrad Landenberger, Jr., 83, Mandan, died November 15, 2012 in a Mandan care center. A private memorial service was held on Monday.

Conrad was born March 9, 1929 to Conrad and Magdalena (Heid) Landenberger in Christina Township southwest of Tuttle, ND. He married Florence McCormick in 1958 and they farmed until 1959. He then moved to the Bismarck-Mandan area. He did warehouse work. After he retired he went back to work part-time for Cash Wise in Bismarck.

Conrad enjoyed doing yard work and working with his flowers. His joy was being able to spend time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his daughter, Sharon (James) Wetzel and his son Michael; his grandchildren, Gregory (Teri) Welch and Michael P. Landenberger; his great-grandchildren, Taylor and Noah Welch, brother, Walter (Elaine); sister-in-law, Lenore Landenberger; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Florence, his parents, his brothers, Jake, Richard, Alfred and Philip and an infant sister.
