Helen B. Habermann, 86, of Watertown, died Monday evening, April 10, 2006.

Born in Jefferson on April 2, 1920, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (nee Schumacher) Endl.

She was a graduate of Jefferson High School in Jefferson. Memberships included St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Watertown, the Jefferson/Dodge County Genealogical Society, Watertown Senior Center and Oconomowoc Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary 2260. Helen enjoyed genealogy and crocheting.

She was married Feb. 3, 1940, to William L. "Jim" Habermann, who preceded her in death Oct. 17, 1999.

Surviving are her sons, Harley (Judy) Habermann of Winchester, William (Joan) Habermann of Oconomowoc and Thomas (Dana) Habermann of Watertown; her daughter-in-law, Yvonne Habermann of Watertown; her sister, Evelyn Kiesow of Waterloo; and her grandchildren, Laura (Mark) Johnson and Andrew, David, Maggie, Jamie and Amanda Habermann. Also surviving are her great-grandchildren, Bethany Johnson and Jeremiah Martin, and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Along with her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son, Richard, and her sister, Ann Koenig.
