Dora C. Petersen Died November 14

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon, November 16, 1963 at the Hadan Mortuary in Bennington, Nebraska for Mrs. Dora C. Petersen who passed away at a Rest Home in Hampton, Iowa, November 14, at the age of 75 years.

She was born October 22, 1888 in Germany and came to this country with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Christian Stender in 1890. She was married to Henry Petersen on February 16, 1910. They moved to Gravity, Iowa in 1932.

Her husband and one son, Vern, preceded her in death. She is survived by one son, Bernard, and three grandchildren, all of Hampton, Iowa, two sisters, Mrs. Gus Auch of Bennington and Mrs. B.J. Bergman of Washington, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pastor Norman Schroeder was clergyman. Pallbearers were nephews: Donald Bergman, Stanley Kerstetter, Alton Stender, Chester Auch, Earl Wulf and Fred Schumacher.

Burial was in the German Cemetery.
