Lucille E. Fenner, age 87 of Eau Claire, died on Thursday, November 22, 2012 at Sacred Heart Hospital.
She was born on November 25, 1924 in Fall Creek, WI to Edwin and Alma (nee Rosentreter) Volbrecht.
On February 12, 1944, she married Ray Heuer. Together, they owned and operated service stations for Golden Rule Oil Co. for many years. Then, they operated Sun-Ray Liquor Store in Altoona until their retirement.
Ray preceded her in death on October 27, 1977. Lucille then married Daniel Fenner in June of 1994. He also preceded her in death on May 19, 1999.
Survivors include her sisters: Mildred Peuse and Shirley (Don) Falch both of Eau Claire, WI; a sister-in-law: Irma Volbrecht of Eau Claire, WI; a brother and sister-in-law: Glen and Ruth Patzwald of Eau Claire, WI; nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, her parents, two brothers: Harlan and Gerald Volbrecht and her brother and sister-in-law: Elmer and Peggy Heuer.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel, 535 S. Hillcrest Parkway, Altoona.
Interment will be in Rest Haven Gardens Cemetery.

The marker here contains only the name Raymond Heuer. The cemetery sexton told me that Mrs. Fenner was first married to Mr. Heuer, then later married to Mr. Fenner. Her name is not yet on this marker. I sent a pix to the requestor.
