Amandus H. Bauer, 89, formerly of Fenton, died July 15, 2008, at Blanchette Place, St. Charles. He was born May 30, 1919, in Cedar Hill, the son of William and Bertha (Ficken) Bauer.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Leona S. (Sprock) Bauer, his parents, nine siblings and son-in-law Jim Walters.
Funeral service was Saturday, July 19 at Chapel Hill Mortuary. Interment is in St. John's Catholic Cemetery. Memorials to the American Lung Association.
