  Mrs. Elsie J. Von Streaman Folkerts of St. Louis died at 1 p.m. Saturday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Vincent (Margie) Zika, Edwardsville.
  She was born March 12, 1900, in Hamburg, Germany.
  She worked as a practical nurse for Bishop William Searlett of Castine, Me., for 15 years, and, more recently worked as a practical nurse in the St. Louis area.
  Besides Mrs. Zika, she is survived by four other daughters and three sons: Gladys Folkerts, Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. George (Ruth) Davis, Ste. Genevieve, Mo.; Mrs. Richard (Wilma Jean) Wayland, San Antonio, Tex.; Mrs. Frederick (Donna) Lutz, Burbank, Calif.; Louis Folkerts, St. Louis; Wilbert Folkerts, Ste. Genevieve, Mo., and Erwin Folkerts, Rolla, Mo.
  Also surviving are a brother, Edo Streaman, New York, N.Y., 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
  She was preceded in death by two sons, a daughter, a brother and a sister.
  Mrs. Folkerts was a member of National Grange No. 250, Castine, Me.
  Friends may call after 4 p.m. today a the Lesley Marks Funeral Home.
  Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home, Rev. Carl Bennett officiating. Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery.
