Karl J. Biehler, of Cheyenne died Oct 3 at Life Care Center of Cheyenne. He was born Apr 18, 1926, in Little River, KS, and had lived in Wyoming since 1965.

Karl was a member of Zion Congregational Church, the Morgan Horse Association, VFW 2918, the Moose Lodge and American Quarter Horse Association.

Karl was a telephone lineman for the U.S. Air Force until his retirement.

Karl is survived by his wife, Dena M Biehler of Cheyenne, whom he married Jan 10, 1976, in Cheyenne; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Rex and Barbara Biehler of Lance Creek, and Ross Biehler of Cheyenne; one daughter and son-in-law, Karla and Michl Morris of Burns; six grandchildren, Paul (Christina) Smith, Gary (Gina) Smith, Mark Smith, William Hogle, Anna Hogle and Travis Robbins; seven great-grandchildren, Amanda Smith, James Smith, Sydnie Gilbert, Austin Smith, Shawnee Smith, Austin Brown and Tristin Munoz; four stepchildren, Gordon Horton, Joyce Horton, Gary O'Brion and Alberta LeGrand; and several stepgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Myrtle Biehler in 1974; his parents, Carl Paul and Bessie Biehler; and a daughter, Beth Hogle.

Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
