Rudy Friemel, 53, passed from this life on Dec. 12, 2012 at his home in West Columbia. He was born on July 20, 1959 to Lilly Belle & August H. Friemel Jr. in Wharton. He loved being with his friends & family most of all. He liked to fish and do carpenter work. He built some of the best wooden swings in the county. He had a great companion he loved very much, his dog Casper. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, Dec. 14, 2012 at 2 pm at Baker Funeral Home Chapel in West Columbia with Ernie Hutchings officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Lawn Haven of Rest. Family will receive friends on Thursday, from 5pm until 7 pm at the funeral home. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, and Step Father, brothers, sister, and special pet, Casper. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father.
