Patricia A. Biddle, age 78, of Massillon formerly of Canton, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2012 in Aultman Hospital. She was born in Youngstown, OH on March 29, 1934 to the late Joseph and Mary Beller. Pat graduated from Youngstown Ursuline High School and went on to obtain an associates degree from Ursuline College in Cleveland. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church and enjoyed playing cards. She was a very devoted mother and grandmother and loved spending time with her children. Pat had a very positive attitude and always came out on top, no matter what life threw at her. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Biddle on April 3, 2006; two sisters, Justine E. Beller and Rosemary Stringfellow; her brother, Rev. Joseph Beller and infant grandchildren, Derek and Paige Hull. Survivors include her children, Peggy Biddle, Jim (Diana) Biddle, Beth (Dale) Hull, Karen (Jim) Petrarca and Kelly (Dave) Cook; grandchildren, Andrew, Joe and Sydney Petrarca, Ele, Ana and Ade Cook, Grant and Claire Hull; brother-in-law, Maurie (June) Biddle; and best friend of 72 years, Midge Wagner. The family would like to thank the amazing staff at The Inn at University Village for treating Pat like a Queen and the staff at Aultman Hospital for the wonderful care given to Pat. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10am in St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, with Fr. Bob Lanterman and Fr. David Rhodes as Celebrants. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4-7pm in the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel.
