Lewis P. Guillotte, a dedicated father, grandfather, husband, brother and friend was born in Alto, TX on January 23, 1934. He died peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, December 22, 2012. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and earned his Bachelor's Degree in accounting from Northwestern State University.

Mr. Guillotte began his career of 47 years in 1965 as an Examination Agent for the Internal Revenue Service. He later established his own firm Lewis Guillotte & Associates.

Lewis was preceded in death by his father and mother, Daniel and Lola Guillotte, sisters, Jane Bass and Telma Arbuckle and daughter, Kathy Raye Houston. He is survived by his wife, Ritha Guillotte; stepchildren, Jamie Hammack and Janice Hitt; grandchildren, David Houston and wife, Aleatha, Ashley Renfro, Josie Hitt and Bailey Hammack; brothers, Jack, Jim and Doug Guillotte; sisters, Marie and Dorothy LaFitte; special friend and business partner Faren Torres.

Pallbearers will be David Houston, Jamie Hammack, Rick Wing, Kenny Guillotte, Robert Guillotte and Joe LaFitte.

Visitation will be at Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel, 2201 Airline Dr. Bossier City from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 26, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, December 27, 2012 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Springridge Cemetery in Pleasant Hill, LA.

The family extends a special thanks to the love and support from his accounting clients, who Lewis thought of as family.
