LYDIA (LEHR) BUSCH 1912-1986
Mrs. Lydia Lehr Busch, 73, Greeley, died Monday, Feb 24, [1986] at North Colorado Medical Center. She was born Oct 1, 1912, to Peter and Barbara (Manweiler) Lehr in Messer, Russia. On Feb 24, 1939, she married George Busch, Jr. in Windsor (Colorado)
Mrs. Busch came to the United States from Russia in 1922, settling in Denver. The family moved to the Gill area in 1927. After her marriage, the couple farmed until 1947, when her husband was in an accident and confined to a wheelchair. They moved to Greeley in 1947. Her husband died Dec. 8, 1980. She was a member of St. Paul's Congregational Church.
Survivors are a son, the Rev. Daniel Busch of Fairmont, Minn.; two sisters; Ben (Helen) Fink of Greeley, and Mrs. Rose Bauer of Loveland; two brothers, Robert Lehr of Greeley, and Walter Lehr of Palm Springs, Calif.; and a granddaughter.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Congregational Church, Interment will be in Linn Grove Cemetery. Contributions may be made to St. Paul's Congregational Church building fund in care of Macy Allnutt Mortuary, which is in charge of arrangements.(City of Greeley Museums, Greeley, CO, Feb 25, 1986, Pg. 1, SB#34)
