Vernon Edward Bing, 47, of Gallipolis, Ohio, passed away at his residence on Monday, December 24, 2012. Vern was born on August 24, 1965 in Columbus, Ohio son of Vernon William and Oleva Darleen Bing who survive in Pomeroy, Ohio.
Vern was a hardworking man, being the owner of two local businesses, VSL Painting: Construction, LLC and VSL Signs, LLC. He was also an U.S. Navy Veteran.
He is survived by
his loving wife of twenty-five years, Shelly Rahe Wilson Bing;
his son, Curtis Edward Bing of Cheshire;
his daughter, Lauren Ashley Bing of Gallipolis;
two brothers, Carl Duane (Diana) Bing of Bidwell and Charles Anthony Bing of Pomeroy;
one sister, Melissa Carol Bing (Ronnie) Bolin of Bidwell;
one granddaughter, Cassidy Michelle Bing of Oak Hill, Ohio;
several aunts, uncles and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Mount Vernon Bing, Bertha Elizabeth Bing, Lee Meredith Bing and Aurelia Bing.
