Mrs. Zubko was born November 26, 1920 in Chicago, Il, to the late Stephen and Tekla Wantuch Kukla. She was a homemaker, and a member of the St. Leo Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband Bruno Zubko of Murray, they married October 28, 1944 in Chicago, Il., daughter, Sharon Franczak and husband Ron of Stream Wood, Il., two sons, Richard Zubko and wife Michelle of Wheaton, Il., and Robert Zubko and wife Patty of Schaumburg, Il., five grandchildren, Jeff Franczak, Dave Franczak and wife Debra, Cindy Hopper and husband Joe, Angela Zubko, and Olivia Zubko. Also two great grandchildren survive.
She was not only preceded in death by her parents, but one sister, Julie Janecek, two brothers, Ted Kukla, and Ray Kukla.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2012 at the St. Leo Catholic Church, Father Jason McClure will officiate and burial will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Friday, December 28, 2012 from 5-8 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
