KUNTZ - John Kuntz of Regina passed away peacefully, surrounded by family in prayer, on Friday, November 30, 2007 at the Pasqua Hospital at the age of 96.
Predeceased by his parents, Jacob and Katherine Kuntz; brothers, Michael in infancy, Lawrence (Lizzie), Tony, Joe (Tillie), Barney, George, Jack (Frieda) and Dan; sisters, Carrie (Dan) Reiss, Lucy (Clem) Fetsch, Katherine (Peter) Heisler, Veronica (Tony) Lockert, Mary (Andrew) Thomas and Dorothy (John) Knoll; brotherin-law, Aloys Eberle; sister-in-law, Stephie and great granddaughter, Cassandra.
John will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 69 years and 9 months, Magdalena; children, Sylvia (Chuck) Ward, Florence (Dan) Diewold, Ann (Wayne) Cooper, Jack (Gail) Kuntz, Ed (Amor) Kuntz and Donna (Darcy) Hislop; 19 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; brother, Tom (Ilean); sisters, Elizabeth (Albert) Fahlman and Barbara Eberle; sisters-in-law, Kay, Jenny, Marge and Nina, as well as numerous nephews and nieces.
Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 noon, Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church, 2049 Scarth St., Regina, SK with Fr. Morrissey and Fr. Firkola as Celebrants.
Interment will follow in Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in John's memory may be made to the Allan Blair Cancer Centre at the Pasqua Hospital. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of the Palliative Care Ward at the Pasqua Hospital and to Dr. Clein for their outstanding compassionate care.
