She came to the U.S. & Garden, Kansas in 1909. She married to Mr. Thaut Jan 16, 1916 in Laurel. Mrs. Thaut was a member of the Emanuel Lutheran Church & the Ladies' Aid Society in Shepherd.
Survivors include her husband, 4 daughters, Mrs. Clarence Hoffman of Worden, Mrs. James Wakfield of Worland, WY, Mrs. Jack Welsh of 4009 Lake Elmo Rd. & Miss Shirley Thaut of the family home; 5 sons, George of Wilsall, Edward of Custer, Carl of 210 S 36th St, Herman of the family home, & John of Shepherd.
Pallbearers were six nephews - Alex Krug, George Krug Jr., Henry Krug, Reinhold Kembel, Pete Reichert And Clarence Thaut. Burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
