Lawrence L. Keseling, 81, of Cuero, died Tuesday, October 22, 2002. He was born March 2, 1921, in Cuero, to the late Herman G. and Julia Binz Keseling. He was a cattle rancher and had retired from the dairy business after 50-plus years. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea and was a member of the Woodmen of the World and the Order of the Sons of Hermann.

Survivors: wife of 51 years, Frances Boldt Keseling; son, Edward Leroy Keseling and wife Melissa Keseling of Cuero; sister, Agnes K. Peebles of Victoria; granddaughter, Emilie Frances Keseling; one niece; and three nephews. Preceded in death by: parents; sister, Hazel K. Benton; brother, Herman George Keseling Jr.; and two nieces.

Pallbearers: Bennie Jendrzey, Benjamin Hahn, Charlie Schlinke, Terry Brown, Hilmer Wagener Jr., and Arturo Pompa. Honorary Pallbearers: Herbert Hahn, Frank Sheppard, Roy Binz, Milton Binz, Edgar Lee Goebel, Leo Galindo III, Leo Galindo Jr., and William Carnes III.

Funeral services were Friday at the funeral home chapel, Pastor Steve Byrne officiated. Burial followed at Hillside Cemetery. Freund Funeral Home, Cuero, 361-275-2343.
