JEFFERSON — Regina M. Kaiser, age 84, of Kathleen Dr., Jefferson, Ohio, died Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 2, 2013, with her daughter Stefani by her side at the Jefferson Healthcare Center where she had been a patient the past three months.
She was born Nov. 9, 1928, in Germany, the daughter of Karl and Maria (Korb) Sahm, coming to the United States in 1955 and moving to Jefferson in 2010, coming from Brooklyn Heights.
Mrs. Kaiser worked for many years at Fisher Foods and then was an industrial seamstress with Kane Products until her retirement.
She was a former member of St. Leo's Parish in Cleveland. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, baking and playing pinochle.
Survivors include three children, Pete K. Kaiser of Parma, Nora M. (Mark) White of Mascot, Tenn., and Stefanie K. (Robert) Hamski of Jefferson; four grandchildren, Natalie, Nicole, Michael and Katelyn; and a brother, Erich Sahm of Germany.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard G. Kaiser in 2008; and a sister, Rosel Sahm.
Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 5th, at the Jefferson Home of FLEMING & BILLMAN FUNERAL DIRECTORS, INC., 49 W. Jefferson St., Jefferson, with Sister Laurie Divoky, Spiritual Care Coordinator with Hospice of the Western Reserve, officiating. Burial will be in Rays Corners Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Funeral Home.
