Daughter of Leopold & A. Elizabeth (Gehring) Siebler.
She received her education in Platte County rural schools. She married Johnny Borchers on June 30, 1931 at Zion Lutheran Church-Grand Prairie. They farmed north of Monroe until 1979 when they moved into Platte Center and retired. Johnny passed away on October 5, 1988. Emma continued living in Platte Center until June 2001 where she entered the Columbus Manor. She was a lifetime member of Zion Lutheran Church-Grand Prairie, a member of the Ladies Aide and Wattsville Club. Emma enjoyed gardening and playing cards.
