SOUTH BEND - Minnie J. Richter, 89, of Ridgedale Road, died at 2:40 p.m. Friday in Medco Health Care Center of an illness. Mrs. Richter retired from Dodge Home, Mishawaka, in 1967 as a practical nurse. She was born June 11, 1904, in Switzerland County, Ind.
On Dec. 25, 1921, as Minnie Manuel, she married William F. Richter. He died in 1976.
Surviving are a daughter, Nelda J. McGeorge of Lebanon, Ohio; a son, Lawrence F. of Mishawaka; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Lloyd Manuel of Carthage, Ind.
She was a member of Milburn Boulevard Church of Christ.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
