Othmar Moser married Theresa Moeller June 8 1920 at the St Mary's Church in Festina Iowa and five children blessed this union: Mrs Ursula Dumer of Ossian, IA, Mrs Dolores Lynch of Waterloo,IA, Germaine (Mrs William Dirr) of West Chicago, Il, Cleo of Waterloo, IA, and urban Moser of Oelwein, IA.
He passed away at the Veterans Hospital in Iowa City, IA after being a patient seven weeks. He passed away after a series of strokes.

Obituary was posted in Ossian Bee Newspaper, June 12,1958 page one col.6
