Daniel "DJ" Jene Haman II, age 30, a CNA of Great Falls, died December 31, 2012 at his home.

Daniel was born August 24, 1982 in San Bernadino, California; Het was raised in Fort Benton.

Daniel attended Sunnyside Elementary and Fort Benton Elementary. He obtained his CNA in Great Falls. Prior to becoming a CNA, Daniel worked as a dishwasher, wild land fire fighter, was employed at NEW, Montana Flour and Grain, and Pasta Montana. It was his strong desire to work with the elderly and disabled that led him to choose a career as a CNA.

He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, swimming, playing Playstation with his son, and he loved to cook.

Daniel is survived by his fiancé Alta Kravik; parents Daniel and Janet Haman, all of Great Falls; son Daniel Haman III, also of Great Falls; daughter Annika Haman of Fort Carson, CO; sisters Jennie Malott and Jasmine Williams, both of Great Falls; brothers Dale Potter of Vaughn and Deacon Haman of Great Falls; and his grandfather John (Sonny) Haman. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Daniel was preceded in death by grandmother Marilyn Haman; grandfather Negrette; and grandmother Susan Negrette.
