Hauser had been a resident of Borger for the past five years and was a retired feed manufacturer.
He was a veteran of World War I, a 50 year member of the American Legion and a member of the Masonic Lodge and Opportunities Center.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. C.A. Edwards of Borger; a son James Hauser of Eldora, Iowa; a sister, Mrs. Bess Arends of Marshalltown, Iowa; and six grandchildren.
The family requests that memorials be made to Borger Opportunities Center.
