Elfrieda Vetter, age 83 of Seguin, passed away on December 19, 2009. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 21, 2009 from 2 to 7 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary. Recitation of the rosary will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at St. James Catholic Church followed by the mass of Christian burial at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Msgr. Dennis Darilek officiating. Interment will follow in St. James Catholic Cemetery. Mrs. Vetter was born on April 5, 1926 in New Braunfels, Texas to Emil and Anna Friesenhahn Tschoepe. Her parents, numerous siblings her great-granddaughter, Haileigh Story and her daughter-in-law Pam Vetter preceded her in death. Survivors include her children, Kenneth Brietzke and wife Cora, Loretta Woerndel and husband Harvey, Milton Vetter, Jr. and wife Lois, Connie Schievelbein and husband Danny, Nathan Vetter, Donnie Vetter and wife Debbie and Ronnie Vetter and wife Janet; brother, Arthur Tschoepe; 16 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Memorial contributions may be made to St. James Catholic Church, 510 S. Camp, Seguin, Texas, 78155 or Guadalupe Regional Hospice, 1215 E. Court Street, Seguin, Texas,78155.
