Grace Larson, 87, of Sibley died Saturday, Oct. 16, 2004, at Sibley Nursing and Rehab Center.

Services were Saturday, Oct. 23, at Salem Reformed Church, Little Rock, with interment in Pleasant View Cemetery.

Grace Van Dyke was born April 25, 1917, in Adrian, Minn., the daughter of Jasper and Geertje (Dammer) Van Dyke.

On Sept. 3, 1935, she married Raymond Vogt.

On Oct. 9, 1976, she married Robert Larson. They moved to Little Rock in 1983. She had resided at Sibley Nursing Home the past four years.

Survivors include three sons, Roger Vogt of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Kenneth Vogt of Puyallup, Wash., and Robert Vogt of Vancouver, Wash.; three daughters, Mrs. Quentin (Rosalyn ) Quade of Astoria, Ore., Mrs. Rocky (Eileen) Lane of Tacoma, Wash., and Patty Nobel of Tacoma, Wash.; 29 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and one sister, Gerdina Rachuy of Sibley.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Larson; one son, Richard Vogt; one brother, Sievert, and two sisters, Marie Van Dyke and Jennie Kenenga.

1917-2004 Our beloved mother passed away October 16, 2004, and was laid to rest in Little Rock, Iowa, with 5 of her 7 children present.

In 1935, she married Raymond Vogt, and were married 20 years. In 1976, she married Robert Larson. Together they owned 3 bakeries, in the old City Hall, Edgewood Piggly Wiggly, called the Donut Factory, Fife Piggly Wiggly, called the B & G Bakery.

In 1983, they closed shop and moved to Gracie's beloved hometown, Little Rock, Iowa.

She leaves to cherish her memories six children, Rosalyn M. and husband Quentin Quade of Astoria, Oregon, Eileen J. and husband Rocky (Harvey) Lane, of Tacoma, Washington, Roger D. Vogt, of Tacoma & Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Kenneth E. and wife Carol Vogt, of Puyallup, Washington, Robert L. and wife Deannette Vogt, of Vancouver, Washington, Patty Noble, of Tacoma, Washington, her beloved sister Gerdina Rachuy, and beloved niece, Phyllis Buss, both of Little Rock, Iowa. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren, and many more nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Larson, her parents Jasper and Geertje (Dammer) Van Dyke, her sisters, Marie Van Dyke, Jennie Venenga, her brother Sievert Van Dyke, and her son Richard Vogt.
