Five children were born to this marriage: Johannes, Maria Elisabeth [1887-1889], Anna Elisabeth, Johann Georg, and Amalia Meier.
The Heinrich Meier family immigrated to America 10 Mar 1903 from Hamburg, Germany aboard the SS Albano, arriving in New York City 15 Apr 1903. They settled first in Sebewaing, Michigan, and then moved in 1905 to Lincoln, Nebraska. In 1910 the family made their final move to Hastings.
