Mrs. Frank Quelle, 78, native of Burlington, died at Memorial hospital, Mt. Pleasant, at 11:30 p.m. Thursday. She had been a patient in the hospital 24 days.

She was born Lizzie M. Brandmeyer, daughter of Catherine Stohlman and Diederick Brandmeyer, in Burlington, August 18, 1868.

She was married in Burlington to Frank Quelle, and with the exception of 3½ years, when they resided at Saskatchewan, Canada, she lived her entire life in Des Moines and Henry county.

She was a former member of the Hawk-Eye Natives of Burlington, and a member of the First Evangelical & Reformed church, Burlington.

Besides her husband she is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Melvin Allen, Danville, and Mrs. Lela Prickett, Mt. Pleasant, 4 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. Ten brothers are dead.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Elliot chapel, New London, with Reverend Ogden Koch, pastor of Faith Lutheran church, Mt. Pleasant officiating. Nephews will be pallbearers. Burial will be in Burge cemetery.
