Mrs. Chas. Ort died after an illness of several weeks, at her home three miles north of Burlington, on the Kingston road, Sunday moring at 1 o'clock.

The funeral will be held from the home, Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Friends are invited to these services.

Louisa Meyers was born in West Moreland county, Pennsylvania, January 9, 1842, and came here with her parents in 1844, this county remaining he home to the end. On February 5, 1850, she became the wife of Charles Ort, who passed away May 19, 1898. Of the none children born to Mr. and Mrs. Ort, five survive the parents. The are: Mrs. Mary E. Murrmann, of Burlington; Mrs. Rosa L. Walker, of Middletown, Mrs. Emma L. Lenhardt, of Fairfield; Mrs. Louisa T. Krumland, of Tama township, and Miss Caroline A. Ort, at home. She also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Milde, of Portland, Ore.; Mrs. Mary Schuler, of Sperry, Iowa; seventeen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, and a host of friends.

Mrs. Ort was a faithful member of St. Paul's Methodist church of the city.
