The Rt. Rev. Msgr. M.J. Thiltgen, pastor, will celebrate the requiem mass, assisted by the Rev. Donald Weydert, assistant pastor. Burial will be in St. Francis' cemetery.
Mr. Kipp, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Kipp, was born March 17, 1869, on a farm four miles west of Ossian. He was married to Elizabeth Wenthold, Oct. 25, 1898, and he has since lived on his farm south of here.
Surviving are two sons, Leo and Edward Kipp, and one daughter, Miss Rose Kipp, all at home; one sister, Mrs Agnes Wenthold, Wells, Minn; three half brothers, Joseph Kipp, Ossian, Frank Kipp, Graceville, Minn; and William Kipp, Cresco, Ia.; and one half sister, Mrs. Edward Wiltgen, Rochester, Minn. He was preceded by his wife, who died Jan. 26, 1941, three daughters, and one son.
Mr. Kipp was a farmer all his life, and served as road supervisor of Military township for 14 years. He was a member of the school board in his district for 25 years.
