Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Mr. Kippes was born Aug. 24, 1905 at Marion to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph J. Kippes and died March 12 at a Mitchell hospital.
He was a member of Elks Lodge 1059.
Survivors include his widow, Amelia: three sons, Frederick, Van Nuys, Calif.: Joseph, Wisconsin; John, Mitchell; six daughters, Mary Kaiser, Longmont, Colo.; LuAnn Trabing, Minneapolis; Kay Jasper, Bloomington, Minn.; Nancy Comp, Plankinton; Linda Machner, La Feria, Texas; and Ruth Thomas, Mitchell; a brother, Robert, Mitchell; one sister, Eva Rubel, Mitchell, and 33 grandchildren.
