Linda K. Gleixner Wert, 53, 3105 Enola Road, Lower Frankford Township, died Monday, April 10, 2000 at her home. Born Sept. 6, 1946 in Mechanicsburg, she was the daughter of Earl M. and Bertha F. Grissinger Krone of Lisburn.
A graduate of Polyclinic Hospital School of Nursing, Harrisburg, she was a registered nurse who worked in home health care services, currently employed at Green Ridge Village, Newville. She previously worked at Polyclinic Hospital for 15 years.
She was a member of the Brethren in Church, Carlisle.
Surviving, in addition to her parents, are her husband, Paul E. Wert; a daughter, Susan M. Cordell of Meadowview, Va.; two sons, William A. Gleixner of Marysville and Steven P. Gleixner of Carlisle; two stepdaughters, Paula Heckman of Carlisle and Patricia Finkey of Tallahassee, Fla.; two stepsons, Robert E. Wert of Mechanicsburg and William Wert of Newville; a brother, Robert E. Krone of Lewisberry; three sisters, Mary Wunderlich of Spring Grove, Donna Feliksik of Lewisberry and Sharon Shaffer of York; three grandchildren; and eight step-grandchildren.
Services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, 219 N. Hanover St., Carlisle, with the Rev. Kenneth O. Hoke officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens, North Middleton Township.
